      | Starting Thursday Oct 2, 2025 work will begin on the sandblasting, priming, and painting of fire hydrants in the district. The fire hydrants have not been repainted in numerous years and are in need of some refurbishing. Work will continue until all hydrants have been completely redone. The hydrants will be painted red with specific colors for the caps. The different cap colors represent the size of the water main. This color-coding provides firefighters with a quick visual cue to the available water flow from a specific hydrant.
Thank you for your patience as the work progresses.
